YOU ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF HELPING, NOT SELLING
OK, so now you know the value of putting the customer first….so what do I put into my review page?
What Type Of Information Should I Include In My Review?
Of course, you can include any that you want, and this is for any product, any Niche, and you can refer to the examples if my reviews I linked earlier.
The key is to be REAL with your customers, keep the reviews easy to read and understandable, provide as much information you can to give a balanced view….and this is why stating the Pro’s and Con’s is a great idea, as NO product is perfect, and it shows you have looked into the positives and negatives alike….which is true and key to being a good marketer.
You can review products any way you like, and test different ways of doing so.
It is also advisable to test different strategies to find one that suits you and the way you want your website to look and what views you want to give your customer.
Of course this is just a guideline and there is no right or wrong….it is whatever suits you and your business niche.
If one method does not work, try another – it is not fixed in stone……
The only certain aspect you MUST keep is be real, relevant and offer truthful advice to your customers via your content
When you are building a business, you have to keep content fresh and appealing and eventually you will become an AUTHORITY within your niche or industry.
How do you do this…?
Be On The Lookout For New And Exciting Products
To become an authority you need to offer meaningful reviews that are positive, but can also be negative – be honest.
Promote your favourite product groups by all means, but have diversity at the same time
There is a very easy alert system set up within Google that will let you know of whatever updates, or new products are available within your niche.
It is a FREE service and takes a few minutes to set up…and is called Google Alerts (nothing fancy there then!), and below is the link:
When you see the home screen, you can choose the search queries relevant to your niche.
For example i chose the following:
I like to type “new” first and the “+” symbol, and then whatever niche area/product you want to get an alert for.
This can be done for ANY NICHE and ANY INDUSTRY.
A very powerful tool to keep your “finger on the pulse” and you are notified of any new items within your search description direct to your email.
Very easy, Very effective and Very much recommended.
Who wants to miss out on new items which can be part of your product base……
I really hope this post has helped you in some way, and has given guidance to help you enhance your business.
