Affiliate programs are arrangements where an online merchant that’s selling products pays an affiliate marketer a commission for any sales generated from their referral traffic.

To make this work, the affiliate website posts special affiliate links which direct customers to the merchant’s site so that sales can be tracked. Each agreement between an affiliate and a merchant is typically set by the commission structure of the merchant’s affiliate program

 “Where do I begin?”

Here is a few select Affiliate Programs that are available for you to join:

1. Amazon Affiliate Program

Amazon is the biggest online retailer, featuring millions of products to promote and make money from. Since Amazon is such a widely used site, there is an automatic sense of trust when shopping with them which means your audience will be more likely to buy the product.

2. Canva

Canva is a great graphic design company for Pinterest, Facebook, infographics and many more. They offer a flexible affiliate program that is relatively new right now, so you should definitely get started with them!

3. Booking.com

Booking.com is another popular destination for people who are planning out their travel destinations. You can gain instant access to their affiliate program and start earning up to 40% of the commission on bookings made through your site.

4.Trip Advisor

If someone is planning a vacation, they’ll most likely end up at Trip Advisor, it is the world’s largest travel site. With that said, if you plan to write about travel, you should apply to TripAdvisor’s affiliate program.

5. Sephora

Sephora is a leader in global prestige retail, teaching and inspiring clients to play in a world of beauty.

6. Ulta

8. Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc., formerly known as Only $1.00 and Everything’s a Dollar, is an American chain of discount variety stores that sells items for $1 or less.

Theses are just some select Affiliate Programs I suggested, because who doesn’t know at least 6 of these stores? If you promote their products, it will sell! Why? Its because their brand is well known to the consumers.

Put your self in the shoes of your consumer, who would you buy from? A store/brand you have never heard of? Or, a trusted brand that is known across the globe?

Remember these Affiliate Programs are just a tip of the iceberg. Your options are endless, just begin your search in Google for a company you love, and see if they have an Affiliate Program! (i.e. [Store you want] + Affiliate Program)
